Alma was born August 12, 1939 in Madison MS, the daughter of Jim B. and Evelyn (Jones) Boyd. She attended Madison-Ridgeland High School and later met and married her loving husband of 37 years, Willie Reynolds. They were united in marriage on June 2, 1956, and then she became a supportive military spouse moving seven times in the next twenty years of Willie’s Air Force career.
Alma enjoyed going on cruises with Willie and her close friends. She travelled all over the world visiting her children and relatives. She was a member of the Keystone Sunday School Class for more than 40 years at Normandale and Whitfield United Methodist Churches. She was also an active member of the United Methodist Women’s Group. For many years, she volunteered with the Montgomery Institute of Neurological Development (MIND). She loved to attend plays at the AL Shakespeare Festival and the Faulkner University Dinner Theatre. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she loved to collect Christmas ornaments. Most of all, she loved the Lord and her family.
