Angelique Stevens Whitaker

Angelique worked at The Surgical Center at Baptist East as a medical records specialist.

She was constantly giving her time to her family and others. She loved to travel the country with her husband helping him promote their business and when she was in Montgomery, she enjoyed teaching young people at church about the Bible.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, John B. Whitaker, mother Louise Brady Stevens, children: Tobi Whitaker Abston, John Brady Whitaker, Andrea Louise Whitaker, grandchildren: Riley Morgan Abston, Jared Michael Abston, Olivia Marie, sibling Timothy E. Stevens, and son-in-law Brian D. Abston.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Leak Memory Chapel, followed by her Life Celebration Service 11:00 AM, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Inner City Church of Christ/Lads to Leaders, P.O. Box 3415 Montgomery, AL 36109, or to one’s favorite charity.
