Harris (nee Klauss) Anita Elizabeth, 82 of Montgomery, Alabama passed peacefully on January 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family & friends. She was predeceased by her husband Norvin Harris. Parents Edward & Antoinette Klauss. Her sister, Alice Guter & brother Edward Klauss. She is survived by her children Kathleen Roxby (Robert), Cherie Panciello (Ralph) & Edward Kominek (Selma). She was a devoted Nana to Tyler Roxby (Stephanie), William Roxby & Natalia Panciello along with many children blessed by her love. Anita was born & raised in Irvington, NJ living there for half her life before moving to Montgomery, Alabama. A graduate of Frank H. Morrell High School in Irvington, NJ. She had a career as a front-end management trainer for Wakefern & Supermarkets General in NJ. She then worked in jewelry sales for Ed's Jewelers & Sears. She spent her later years enjoying gardening, with her dogs including Redd & her friends. A true "Jersey Girl" her kind heart, sarcastic wit & beautiful smile will be missed.
