Annette Summerlin Anderson, age 82, of Summerdale, Alabama passed away on Friday January 3, 2020. Annette was born to F A Summerlin and Alma Haggerty on June 24, 1937 in Talladega County, Alabama.

Annette is survived by; son Phil (Jess) Anderson; brothers Paul (Connie) Summerlin and Billy Summerlin; grandchildren Michael Anderson and Matthew Anderson, nephews Jason Summerlin, Brant Summerlin, Glen Summerlin and Dean Summerlin. Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Harold Anderson. She was known for planting flowers and watching Alabama football. She also loved her pets, her church and Blue Bell ice cream. A visitation for Mrs. Anderson will be held Friday, January 10, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109 followed by a graveside service at 11:00 AM in Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109.

Serving as pallbearers are Jason Summerlin, Brant Summerlin, Glen Summerlin, Mike Filler, Wayne Patterson and Greg Kegley with honorary pallbearers Michael Anderson and Matthew Anderson.

I have such good memories of my sweet first cousin Annette. I remember fondly of my dad ( Annette’s uncle) always called her Annie Bug. She always had the greatest smile. My condolences to Phil, Billy and Paul and all families.
