Annie Lois Butler

Butler, Annie Lois died peacefully on December 27, 2013 in Jacksonville, Alabama.She was born in Elmore County, Alabama on September 27, 1920.Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Davis Moseley. Preceding her in death in 2003 was her husband, William R. Butler, Sr. They lived in Montgomery and were members of Capitol Heights Methodist Church. Her children include Gloria B. Marsh (Burton) of Ocala, Florida, Jenny B. Lee (Bobby) of Anniston and Bill Butler (Peggy) of Peachtree City, Georgia;her sister, Jean M. Houghbty (Jim) of Montgomery. Six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.Special thanks to her daughter Jenny and son-in-law Bobby for taking such loving care of Annie for past 6 years while she resided in The Meadows of Jacksonville, an assisted living facility.Funeral services for Annie will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Leak-MemoryChapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, Alabama with the Reverend Mike Northcutt, a long time friend of the family, officiating. Her family will receive friends in the parlor of funeral home beginning at 1:30 p.m.
