Arthur M. Blackmon, 80, of Montgomery, AL, passed away on March 6, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, W.L. and Hazel Blackmon; sister, Mary H. Winstanley, and brother, Dr. William Blackmon, Jr.
He is survived by his nieces, Kimberlin Carlisle (Steve), Nancy Shepard, Karen Somerset (Scott), Anita Weaver, Holly Shelton ; nephews Bruce Blackmon (Wendy) and Bryant Blackmon (Tracy); and several great-nieces and nephews.
He co-owned Capitol Crown and Bridge for several years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He spent many happy hours with friends at estate sales.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m., Friday, March 12, at Leak Memory Chapel, followed by a graveside service at 10:00 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery.
