

Aubrey Madison Green, born on February 24, 1932, passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on December 10, 2025. A longtime resident of Montgomery, Alabama, Aubrey was known for his dedication and service to his country and community.
Aubrey moved to the Montgomery area in 1972 from the Houston and Henry county regions. He proudly served in the United States Navy, where he earned two Bronze Star medals for his valor and bravery. A veteran of both the Vietnam and Korean Wars, Aubrey retired with honor from his military career.
Aubrey was preceded in death by his parents, Roan Madison Green and Bessie Mae Hanchey Green, his beloved wife of 30 years, Rose "Nita" Green, and his sisters, Quida Mae Hudgens and Judy Parker. He leaves behind his daughter, Abby Green, and two stepsons, Steve Sharker (Ann) and Frank Sharker (Leslie). He was a cherished grandfather to Ben Sharker, Rob Sharker, Jessica Evans, and Sarah Sharker, and a great-grandfather to Joseph Aver, Addison Sharker, Charlie Sharker, Quinn Evans, and Hampton Evans.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to his caregivers, Freda Dority and Lisa Boswell, for their Christian loving care.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Leak Memory Chapel, located at 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL, on December 16, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at Petrey Cemetery on Lapine Hwy, Petrey, AL, on December 17, 2025, starting at 1:00 pm.
