Barbara L. Willis, 75, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at White Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Northcutt officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 from 5:00 – 7:00 at White Chapel Funeral Home. Mrs. Willis was a longtime and devoted member of Eastmont Baptist Church. She was also a dedicated volunteer worker at Baptist South hospital for many years. Mrs. Willis was an avid Atlanta Braves and Alabama football fan, never missing an opportunity to watch a game. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Hancock. Mrs. Willis is survived by her children, Mike Harrison (Greta), Lisa Fancher (Rickey), Tamara Hyatt (Tony), Kevin Harrison (Michelle); sister in law, Nada Hancock; nephews, J.T. Hancock, Raymond Hancock; grandchildren, Robin Green, Billy Green, Butch Cups, Missy Harrison, Michael Fancher, Mandi Fancher, Justin Bishop, Kailee Hyatt, Logan Hyatt, Kodee Harrison, Coleman Harrison, Meagan Coggins, Joseph Coggins, Savanna Yelverton; and ten great grandchildren. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions can be made to Camp Smile a Mile in memory of Barbara L. Willis.
