Beaird, Bernerd R., 92, a resident of Montgomery died March 26, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 29, 2013, at Leak Memory Chapel with Dr. Shawn Merithew officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 10:00 am and the funeral will be at 11:00 am. He was a deacon and a charter member of Morningview Baptist. He operated Beaird Realty Company for fifty years. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He is preceded in death by daughter Beverly Williamson. Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Merle Stuart Beaird, sister Mildred Freese, daughter Pam Hill (Richard), grandchildren Tyler Hill, Trent Hill (Tish), Patrick Williamson (Stephanie), Kit Williamson Gibson (Lucas) and seven great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a memorial contribution to Xtreme Outdoors Ministry, 100 Taylor Way, Wetumpka, Alabama 36092.
