As a wife to a military man she experienced life around the world. As a mother, she was “the bond of stability” to a family uprooted numerous times, as world events dictated. She taught us to respect all people, all cultures and shaped our lives to seek peace and contentment where ever home may be, but to always keep an eye on the horizon.
If you wanted to know the definition of marriage, devotion and love, all you had to do was look up Robert and Betty. She was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be missed so very much. But we have that wonderful Promise, We Will Meet Again.
Family and friends will meet for inurnment services at Alabama Heritage Cemetery, Monday, May 12th at 11:00am. On line condolences may be made at www.leak-mc.com
