Some of her favorite times were spent at their Lake Martin home with family and friends and, especially, summers with their granddaughters.
Betty was very involved in the community and her church. She taught Sunday School for many years, and was a member of Court Street Baptist, Woodley East Baptist, and Eastmont Baptist, and enjoyed the fellowship with friends there. She was a member of Canterbury Bells Garden Club for fifty years and enjoyed everything it involved, especially being surrounded by such wonderful members who were so kind and helped her achieve many goals. Gardening was truly her favorite hobby.
She loved her family dearly and was so blessed to have them living in Montgomery. They always gave her love and support in every way. For this she was grateful.
