Bill Rauschenberger

William “Bill” L. Rauschenberger born Oct. 14, 1942 passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was known for his integrity and dependability as the owner of Bill’s Plumbing Service for 36 years. Bill and his wife Carol enjoyed RV-ing and traveling for many years and he was an Alabama football fan. He is survived by his wife, Carol Odom Rauschenberger and children, Scott (Molly), Todd (Sandie), Michael (April) Maddox, and Mandy (Jason) Smith. He was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and loved them all dearly. Services will be Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 2pm at Leak Memory Chapel in Montgomery, AL. Pallbearers will be 8 of his grandsons; Will Melton, Cody Rauschenberger, Cory Rauschenberger, Dalton & Brodie Maddox, Jackson, Kellen & Daly Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Henry, Charlie & Samuel Smith.

A Celebration of Life Visitation for Bill will be held Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109, followed by a Celebration of Life Chapel service at 2:00 PM. Services will conclude with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
