Bonnie was a member of Snowden Baptist Church and enjoyed researching her family history, traveling, playing cards, gardening, and reading. She worked as an LPN for over 40 years before retiring.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, James Lowell McGregor; her brothers, William Randall Jenkins and Raymond Elmo Jenkins; her sister, Evelyn June Jenkins Chapin; her parents, Willie and Myrtle Mae Dunbar Jenkins; and her grandparents William Farr Jenkins and Julia Perry Jenkins and William Wesley Dunbar and Georgia Mae Creekmur Dunbar.
She is survived by her son, James Eric McGregor (Dana); her daughter, Julia Ellen McGregor Edwards (Yancy); her grandchildren, James Taylor McGregor (Vaida) and Yancy Joel Edwards; her great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Wyatt, and Loxley McGregor; and her sister, Jeannette Jenkins Lax.
A friends and family visitation for Bonnie will be held Monday, November 24 at 1:00 PM at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home. A graveside committal service will follow at 2:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery.
