Dear Doris and John Allen,
I am Elsa LaVerne Stephenson Jones living in VA. My Grand mother was Clara Schuffert Farrell. My parents were Elsa and Earle Stephenson - Elsa was Clara's daughter. My brother, Earle Stephenson,Jr. and his wife Reggie and me and my husband Johnny stopped in to visit with your Dad a few years back when we were in Montgomery. We really enjoyed the visit with him as he sang us a few songs and told us numerous interesting stories of his music ventures. What a wonderful gentleman your Dad was in every way. We cherish the time we spent with him that day/night. My nephew, John Stephenson, (Earle Jr. son) who lives in Navarre, FL with his family had recently contacted your Dad and was planning a visit to Montgomery to visit with him was the one who told us of your Dad's passing. So sorry that he is gone and we wish you God's comfort in knowing your Dad is HOME at last with his family and friends in Heaven singing with the Heavenly Chorus and rejoicing!
Love and God Bless,
LaVerne and Johnny Jones
