Brenda K. Evans

Brenda K. Evans, 62, of Wetumpka formerly of Montgomery, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014. A life-long resident of the River Region she worked as a church secretary for Eastern Hills and McGehee Rd. Baptist Church and was presently a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Wetumpka. She was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School Class of 1969 and enjoyed sewing, genealogy and especially taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her son Clay Christian Evans and her father John Frank Kennedy. She is survived by her husband Cliff Evans, Jr.; Sons: Travis (Mary Esther) Evans, Troy (Kandence “Micke”) Evans and Clint Evans; Mother: Dot Erikson; Sister: Rhonda (Stan) McGraw; Brother: Larry (Barbara) Kennedy; grandchildren: Lauren, Ashley and John Frank Evans, Meagan, Bryant and Ethan Evans, Dylan Evans and numerous cousins. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Leak Memory Chapel with visitation beginning at 1 pm. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
