

Camilla was born in Fulton County, Georgia, the daughter of Ruth McGee and James Franklin Pridgen, Senior.
Camilla graduated from Emory at Oxford where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.
Camilla has been a resident of Montgomery, Alabama for over 50 years. She was a member of the Junior League of Montgomery, the Montgomery Medical Auxiliary and most recently a founding member of Wesley Church.
As an intelligent, beautiful and active person of faith, Camilla loved her family, friends and her church. She enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, spending time at the lake and playing bridge and tennis with her friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and James Franklin Pridgen, Senior and her husband, Philip John Fischer. Camilla is survived by her daughter Andrea Lee Shadburn and her sons, James Matthew Shadburn and William Benson Shadburn along with her brother, James Franklin Pridgen, Junior.
Memorial donations can be made to The Stegall Seminary Scholarship Endowment Foundation, Wesley Church, Meals on Wheels or any charity of your choice.
Memorial services will be held at Wesley Church 608 E Fairview Ave, Montgomery AL 36106 on Thursday February 12th, 2026, with a visitation at 10:30 AM followed by the service at 11:00 AM.
