She was preceded in death by her parents, William Clyde and Evelyn Vickers; brother, Ronnie Vickers; and sister, Barbara Mae.
She is survived by her three children, David Clyde Carter, Daniel Edward Carter, and Darryl Wayne Carter; 8 Grandchildren; and 12 Great-Grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend a very special thanks to Carolyn’s devoted grand-daughter Elizabeth Sudsberry.
