

Carolyn D. Culver passed away peacefully on August 18th, 2026, at the age of 99. Born on April 30th, 1927, in Meridian, Mississippi, Carolyn made Montgomery, Alabama, her lifelong home, where she was known for her grace, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to family and friends. She welcomed people warmly, often around her kitchen table, and her kindness and gentle wisdom left a lasting mark on everyone who knew her. Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Eugene Jabbo Culver. She is survived by her children, Rebecca Lynn Culver, Edward Eugene Culver Jr. and his wife, Cindy Culver, and Daniel William Culver. She is also survived by Heather Helms, daughter of Ed and Cindy Culver, a cherished member of the Culver family, along with extended family and many dear friends who will cherish her memory. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the many friends who offered kindness and loving care to Carolyn over the years. A graveside service celebrating Carolyn’s life will be held for family and friends. “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
