Born in Talladega, AL to Clifford McClure and Mary Cathryn McClure (both predeceased), Cathy grew up in Talladega, AL and graduated college from Auburn University but also earned a Masters Degree in History from Jacksonville State University. Before she retired, she was a Social Worker for the State of Alabama DHR in Montgomery, AL. Over the years she had many interests such as photography, art and painting. She loved the Shakespeare Festival and was very involved in the Will’s Guild.
She also loved history and was an avid reader of multiple topics.
But most of all, she enjoyed and loved her pet dogs. Donations in her memory may be made to the Humane Society.
A Graveside Memorial Service is set for Sunday, November 17 at 2:00 pm in Oak Hill Cemetery, Talladega, AL.
