Charles Edward Bender Jr.

Charles loved dancing, fishing, woodworking, and spending time with family and friends, who filled his life with happiness.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Bender, Sr.; mother, Rosa Belle Misseldine; and brother, John Thomas Bender, Sr.

Mr. Bender is survived by 2 daughters, Robin Lovett (Bruce) and Cynthia “Cindy” Bender (Shelby Weldon); 2 grandchildren, Chelsea Lovett (Trey) and Austin Lovett (Danielle), great grandson, Jaxton Lovett; sister, Elsie Rose Davis; and many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 11:00am at Leak Memory Chapel, led by Eric Jackson. Visitation one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Montgomery Humane Society or the charity of your choice.

We would like to thank everyone for their prayers, thoughts, kind words, and visits to the hospital and rehab facility. Thank you to all of the caregivers who treated Dad with respect and dignity. Thanks be to God for making him whole again.
