Charles W Butler Jr.

BUTLER, Charles Webb, Jr., 53, a resident of Woodbridge, VA and formerly a resident of Montgomery, passed away on 25 June 2011. He is survived by his parents Charles and Dot Butler, sister Becky Frank (Mike), niece Lindsey Martin of Madison, AL, and nephew Mitchell Frank (Kelly) of Rainbow City, AL. After serving for 28 years in law enforcement in the Washington DC area, he retired from the Arlington, VA Police Department Vice-Narcotic Unit as a detective. He served on Drug Task forces with the F.B.I. and A. T. F. Funeral services will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Wednesday, 29 June 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Greg Murks officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery (Tallassee, AL). Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Pall bearers will be long time childhood friends Sim Penton and Buster Russell, nephew Mitchell Frank (Rainbow City, AL), cousins Chuck Ballard (Tallassee, AL) and Mike Mann (Atlanta, GA), and Jeff Dent. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Heroes-Inc.org. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Woodbridge, VA.
