Charles (Chuck) Owen Ming, Jr., 54, of Mount Carmel Community, passed away following a sudden accident on October 29, 2013. He was employed with the Alabama Department of Transportation, where he had worked for 25 years. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He is survived by his son, Patrick (Krista) Ming; loving parents, Charles and Beverly (Poole) Ming; sisters, Charlotte (Chris) Tesmer and Cindy (Chad) Phillips; and three nephews. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Leak Memory Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Friday, November 1, 2013 at Leak Memory Chapel with Pastor Jim Looney officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremy McGinty, Chad Phillips, Chris Tesmer, Casey Tesmer, Cody Tesmer, and Russ Berry. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Danielville Baptist Church, 59 Danielville Road, Honoraville, Alabama 36042 or to one’s favorite charity.
