Charles Kenneth Walden

Charles Kenneth Walden Sr., age 68, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Kenny is preceded in death by his parents, Eleanor Lansdon and James D. Walden, and sister, Jamelle Walden-Heatley.

Kenny was born on October 2, 1956 in Montgomery where he attended Hooper Academy and Auburn University. Kenny was married to his junior high sweetheart, Nancy Poundstone for more than 45 years. Kenny and Nancy raised three children, Charlie Walden (Elizabeth), Audrey Waller (Chase), and Abbie Kimberlin (Chris). Kenny was a proud "Pappy" to Lansdon Waller, Lucy and Nancy Walden, Eleanor Grace and James Poundstone Kimberlin. Kenny will be remember as “Happy” to his close friends, and his love for hunting, fishing, and Auburn University.

Visitation is set for 10:30 AM, Monday, March 17, 2025 at Leak Memory Chapel. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alabama Wildlife Federation or a charity organization of one’s choice.

A friends and family visitation for Charles will be held Monday, March 17, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109, followed by a graveside committal service.
