Mr. Clifford M. Cox, age 87, passed away November 14, 2011. The family will receive friends at Leak-Memory Chapel on Wednesday, November 16 from 1:00pm until service time. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm at Leak-Memory Chapel with Bro. Lenny Bolton officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Cox was a member of Wares Ferry Road Baptist Church for 28 years. He was employed by the City of Montgomery for 40 years before retiring in 1987.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Nelda Jones Cox; one sister, Edna Williams of Tampa, Florida; two sisters-in-law, Jean Schofield of Montgomery and Mary Cox of Savannah, Georgia; numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asked that memorial contributions be made to Wares Ferry Road Baptist Church or The Salvation Army.
