CC is preceded in death by daughter Julie and his wife of 67 years, Jean. He is survived by maternal siblings Lola Harlow of Lilburn, GA, Dr. Earl B. Shelp of Louisville, KY and Chelsea Julian of Kokomo, IN as well as son James (Janette) Cole and grandson, Cameron.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Alabama Masonic Lodge scholarship fund, Shriners Children's Hospital, or charity of your choice.
A visitation for CC will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109. followed by a chapel service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109.
