Clyde Reece Boone

Clyde Reece Boone, 86, of Montgomery, Alabama, went to be with his Lord on March 3, 2020. He was born on May 13, 1933, in Autauga County, Alabama, to the late Oliver Clifton and Evie Bowden Boone. Clyde was a retired building inspector for the city of Montgomery and a veteran of the United States Navy. He was an active member of Perry Hill Road Baptist Church. He was also a Master Mason and a member of the Montgomery Lodge #11.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Jane D Boone, daughter Gail Woodall (Bart), son Carl Boone (Kelli), grandson Brandon Woodall, stepdaughter Terri McCall (John), stepson Donald “Chip” Baugher (Tiffany), step grandsons Cody, Hunter, and Logan Baugher, nephews George Mingledorff (Sarah), Clifton Mingledorff, and Oliver Boone (Robin), niece Beni Sexton (Billy), life-long friend Lester Cook, special family friends Robert and Martha Boatfield, as well as other close friends.

Clyde was preceded in death by his sisters Lois Mingledorff, Lee Luttrell, brother Raiford Boone and niece Deborah Hatchette.

Funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Stephen Nulph. Memorial contributions can be made to Perry Hill Road Baptist Church Missions Fund.
