CLAMPIT, Clyde Phillip 69 died peacefully on February 4, 2022 after an illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Gerald Clampit and Mary Jane Clampit and his sister Linda Marshall. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Elouise Clampit; his children, Marsha Odle (Alan) and Keith Clampit (Alicia); his grandchildren, Ben Odle and Abby Odle; his siblings, Lois Ryan and Douglas Clampit (Michelle). Phillip was born in Lufkin, Texas on January 1, 1953. He was a member of River’s Edge Church. Phillip was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a quiet man who showed his love and appreciation for others with his generosity and time. A memorial service will be held at White Chapel Funeral Home on Wednesday February 9, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Eddie Mitchell and Alan Odle will be officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Mount Cemetery in Highland Home, Alabama. Visitation will be held at White Chapel Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.
