Cornelia Norton Sewell

Cornelia Norton Sewell age 92, a resident of Montgomery, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014, after an extended illness. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Connie and Butch Golson of Murfreesboro, TN, Janet and Mike McCord of Wetumpka, AL, Jane and Joe Kurek of Broken Arrow, OK, Mike and Barbara Bryan of Springfield, VA, Ron and Sherry Norton of Cumming, GA, Raymond and Diane Norton of Montevallo, AL, Ken and Mindy Norton of Tuscaloosa, AL, Bill and Donna Jean Norton of Odenville, AL, Paulette Alvarez of Arkansas, and Billy Sprecker of South Carolina.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, December 1, 2014, at Leak Memory Chapel in Montgomery. Chaplain Bill Tucker and Rev. Mike Green will officiate with burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until service time on Monday.

Pallbearers will be Butch Golson, Mike McCord, Michael McCord, Don Weathers, Bill Morgan, Shane Williams. Honorary pallbearer will be Buster Broadway.

The family would like to extend much appreciation to Alacare Hospice workers and the Country Cottage Assisted Living workers.
