Crowell Everett Davis

Crowell Everett Davis, 85, of Hope Hull, passed away on January 4, 2014, after a long battle with cancer. He was the only child of Pierce Davis and Winnie Elizabeth Anderson Davis of Naftel, AL. He was a long time member of Liberty Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Virginia (Jennie) Lassiter Davis. He is also survived by a son, Dwight Everett Davis (Patsy) of Hope Hull; a daughter, Angela Gail Davis Hooten (Anthony) of Huntsville, AL; five grandchildren, Everlie Davis Bolton(Dr. Scott) of Dothan, AL; Dr. Tiffany Davis Dean (Greg) of Madison, AL; Jonathan David Hard (Jessica) of Trussville, AL; Holleigh Hard Hill of Huntsville, AL; and Brittany Davis Ashley (Dr. Ty) of Bryan, TX, and eight great-grandchildren, Ethan Everett Bolton , Logan Douglas Bolton , and Davis Shane Bolton, all of Dothan, AL, Jackson Davis Dean and Rylee Anne Dean of Madison, AL, Madison Virginia Faust of Huntsville, AL, Samuel Joseph Ashley and John Silas Ashley of Bryan, TX. Services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, January 6, 2014, at Leak-Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Mark Jones officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Forest Hills Cemetery in Snowdoun, AL. Pallbearers will be Kerry Brown, Frank Lassiter, Roy Houlton, Dr. Will Carter, Laslie Hall, and Alan Boyd. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmie Pugh, Jerry Gwin, and Perry Taylor. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Montgomery Cancer Center.
