Daniel F. Kedzierski, 88, of Montgomery, AL, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 20, 2018. He was born in New Kensington, PA to the late Anthony and Anna Kaczmarek Kedzierski, on October 16, 1929.
Daniel began his military service in the Naval Reserve in 1948, and then served in the United States Air Force. He served in the Korean and Vietnam wars and during his last tour of duty he was a team member of the Senior NCO Academy at Gunter Air Force Base, Montgomery, Al. as a Chief Master Sergeant. He was also a faithful member of St. Bede Catholic Church.
Daniel is survived by his twin brother, Joseph Kedzierski of Marietta, GA and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. In addition to his parents, Daniel is preceded in death by his siblings, Florian, Edward, Stanley, Leon and Clara Kedzierski and sister Alice Planavsky.
Viewing will be Sunday, July 22 at Leak Memory Chapel - Montgomery from 5 - 7pm. A funeral mass will be held at St Bede Catholic Church on Monday, July 23 at 11:00 followed by a Mercy meal in the church hall. Burial will take place at St Mary's Cemetery in New Kensington, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to Hospice of Montgomery, St Bede Catholic Church - Montgomery and Angels for the Elderly - Montgomery.
