I met David through a reenactor friend of mine a couple of years ago at Fort Toulouse. David was very friendly and genuine, and I immediately took a liking to him. The next time I saw him was at Horseshoe Bend Military Park. We talked more that day and found out he was on Facebook. I followed him on FB and was shocked to learn of his passing. My condolences and sympathy go out to the family. David was a good man and I believe he was a believer in Jesus Christ. We will see him again in the next life, I'm sure.
