David Earl Roberson passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 after a short illness. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 11:00am at Leak Memory Chapel with visitation one hour prior. Rev. Michael Gillyard officiating. Burial will follow the chapel service at Sardis Cemetery, Hwy 331 South. Dave was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid Alabama fan who hardly ever missed a game in the past 20 years! Roll Tide! He loved RVing with a special group of friends he enjoyed spending time with. He loved camping and golfing. As a true patriot of our country, Dave retired from the US Air Force. Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Shirley Roberson; children, Traci Roberson, Mike Roberson (Anne Marie), Scott Roberson, Sheila Parsons; grandchildren, Spencer Knight (Amber), Stuart Knight (Abby), Ben Roberson, Justin Roberson (Haley), Kayla Roberson, Michael Roberson, Emily Parsons, Summer Maddox (Andrew), David Roberson; great grandchildren, Lane Maddox, Creed Maddox, Brody Roberson, Reagan Roberson, Emberleigh Acre, Jemison Acre, Bentley Wilson, Trinity Sutton; and sister, Betty Beard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben & Martha Roberson.
