STUMPPF, David Edward, 82 a resident of Wetumpka, AL and a former resident of Montgomery died Sunday, June 26, 2011 in a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 3:30 PM at Greenwood Cemetery with Pastor John Varner officiating. Survivors include his wife, Faye G. Stumpp; two children, Floyd Charles Stumpp (Georgie), Deborah Stinson (James); three grandchildren, Jeff Stinson, Dawn Merz, Austin Stumpp; and one great-grandchild, Jessica Merz. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary E. Harris and son, Eddie Stumpp, Jr. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the staff at Wetumpka Health & Rehab and to Comfort Care Hospice. Pallbearers will be Lee Provo, Larry Forest, Raleigh Farrior, Mike Whitt, John Moore, and Wayne Alexander. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wetumpka Health and Rehab. Arrangements under the direction of Leak Memory Chapel, Montgomery, AL.
