David Erland Vallancourt

David served in the U.S. Air Force as a Tech Sergeant and during the Vietnam War. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked for the Veterans’ Administration.

David was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed all kinds of sports, taking care of animals by feeding stray cats and birds, and serving his church community by working the food pantry and clothes closet and changing out the signs.

He was preceded in death by his wife, June Vallancourt; his son, Rick Vallancourt; his grandson, Bart Vallancourt; his parents, Joseph and Jean Vallancourt; and his sister, Jean Vallancourt.

He is survived by his son, Joseph Vallancourt; his granddaughter, April DeMedicis (Jeff); his great-grandchildren, Scarlett and Whitman; his nephews, David Vallancourt and Mickey Carr; his niece, Angela Dickerson; and his great-nephew, Brody Carr.

Donations may be made in David’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
