David Morgan Wray Sr.

Mr. Wray was preceded in death by his parents; Morgan Leon Wray and Mother Jeannette Vinson Wray. He is Survived by wife Jewell Wray, son David Wray Jr., daughter April Wray Blair (Eddie), Grandchildren Morgan Wray (Kaila), Mason Wray, Madison Duncan, Mary Esther Duncan, Jackson Duncan; sister Delores Bolling (Jerry) and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Wray was a graduate of Sidney Lanier High school; he also attended University of Alabama and graduated from John Patterson Technical College. He married the one and only love of his life in 1965. He was the best daddy to his children and the best Pops to his grandkids.

David was one of a kind. He loved his family, friends, and helping others. His faith in Jesus and love of the Lord was evident in every area of his life. He had a strong work ethic. He retired from CSX after 33 years. He also was a volunteer with Montgomery Police Department. He loved to travel, bake, and spend time with friends and family. He was known for his daily devotions he posted on Facebook and weekly inspirational words to his family.

His Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, November 30 at 2 PM with the family receiving guests at 12:30 PM at Eastmont Baptist Church, Montgomery, Alabama. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to Eastmont Baptist Church.
