

Debrah (Debbie) Jo Culp (66) died peacefully in her home of natural causes on Friday, April 7, 2017 in Marbury, AL. A visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 5:00 until 7:00 at Leak Memory Chapel in Montgomery, AL.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Jeffery Doyle Culp of Marbury, AL ; mother, Darlene Powell, Colona, IL.; Son and daughter-in-law, Judson (Shanna) Culp of Colorado Springs, CO; grandsons Jordan and Gavin Culp, Colorado Springs, CO; Sisters: Sherri Clark, Colona, IL, Adrianne ( James) Braet, East Moline, IL; brother, Danny ( Charlotte) Powell, Coal Valley, IL; sister-in-law, Regina Culp ( Randy) Witt, Deatsville, AL. Many nieces and nephews.
Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Gordon Powell, Molene, IL. Also, brother-in-law, John Clark, Colona, IL.
Debbie was born in Molene, IL. She moved to Montgomery, AL in the 70’s. Most of her career was working as a bookkeeper in various auto industries and dealerships.
Debbie met the love of her life, Jeff Culp, whom she married in 1985. They each shared the love of the auto industry and worked in the same field until her death.
Debbie was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved living in the country with her family and dogs. She was a very unpretentious person. What you saw was what you got. She was a fun loving person who was referred to by her nieces as a “cool chick”. She loved with her whole heart with no reserve. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
