Deirdra Thompson Prestridge

December 6, 1956December 1, 2018

Dee Prestridge of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on December 1, 2018 at the age of 61. Dee loved her dogs and was an avid doll collector. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Jan” Prestridge; parents, Gladys and Malcolm Thompson; sister, Susan Gardner; and brother, Dennis Thompson. Dee is survived by her son, William Jesse Prestridge and his wife, Charlotte Prestridge; grandchildren, Lillie Prestridge, Will Prestridge, and Emilee Prestridge; sister, Angel Thompson; brother, Phillip Thompson; and sister, Patsy Armstead. The family will receive guests on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 1:00pm at Leak Memory Chapel. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00pm led by Pastor Chris Erwin. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or The Montgomery Humane Society. The Family would like to extend special thanks to The Montgomery Cancer Center and Baptist Hospice. Dee has touched our lives in so many ways. She was family, a sister-in-law, a friend, a co-worker, a teacher, an amazing lady. Dee will be missed by all who knew her.
