Delaris Ann Bowden

Delaris W. Bowden (65) left for her heavenly home on March 30th at UAB Hospital. Delaris was born to Ellis H. & Fay F. Winborne on February 28th, 1959, of Ramer, Alabama. Delaris is survived by her loving husband, Timothy Bowden (26 years), daughter Sandi (Scott) Fiorillo, brother Ellis Winborne Jr., grandchildren Brayden & Bryleigh Fiorillo who refer to her as GIGI, several nieces, nephews, and their children.

She is preceded in death by Parents Ellis & Fay Winborne, sisters in law Carla S. Winborne & Sharon B. Trammell, nephew Christopher Bowden, in laws Alton & Martha Bowden.

Delaris was an Active member of South Montgomery Volunteer Fire Department for over 30 years and was the first female to be promoted to the rank of Assistant Chief. Delaris was employed by Acme Propane and worked there until 2017.

She was also an Active member of Snowdoun Baptist Church where she attended until her health started declining. She especially looked so forward to seeing her church family and friends but always a big hug from Pastor Steve.

Pallbearers were selected from the Deacons of Snowdoun Baptist and South Montgomery Volunteer Fire Department. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Men of Snowdoun Baptist Church and those of South Montgomery Volunteer Fire Department.

A family and friends visitation will be held on Friday April 5, 2024 at Leak Memory Chapel from 5 until 7pm. A Celebration of Life service service will be held at Snowdoun Baptist on Saturday April 6, at 11AM with a Graveside committal service immediately following in Ramer Cemetery.
