Mr. Crippen was preceded in death by his parents, James Elmer Crippen and Hazel Pearl Crippen, and one brother, Lawrence Anthony Crippen. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mrs. Nancy Crippen; one daughter, Darlene Henry (Michael); and one brother, Charles “Speck” Crippen (Barbara); 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren , and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Crippen taught at Lee High School and AUM for a total 20 years in education, he was in the Air Force 7 ½ years.
Mr. Crippen’s Visitation will be Friday morning at 10am, with a Chapel Service at Leak Memory Chapel at 11:00am, with burial to follow in Greenwood- Serenity Cemetery, with Minister Terry Claunch Officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.leak-mc.com.
