Donald Maxwell Greene

Donald Maxwell Greene, 85 of Montgomery, AL passed away Friday, February 28, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Greene married 58 years. Born in Pensacola, FL and moved to Mobile, AL before residing in Montgomery, AL. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey (Tina) Greene, granddaughter (Alexandria); brother David (Kathy) Greene; sister-in-law Marsha Greene; nephews James (Valorie) Greene, Johnathan (Jessica) Greene, Adam (Brittany) Greene, Stephen (Emily) Greene, and great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by brother Jimmy Greene, and nephew, Michael Greene. He began his career with Independent Life on October 23, 1961 and in 1971 was promoted to staff sales manager and in 1983 was promoted to district sales manager. In his career he earned numerous company awards in recognition of outstanding performance records with over 30 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling and travel. Funeral services at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 9, 2025 from Leak Memory Chapel with a reception to follow located at 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL. Visitation will be held prior to services beginning at 10 a.m. burial will follow in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery, 20932 County Road 70 Andalusia Al 36421.
