Dorothy Frances Hartley Casey, 94 years of age, passed away on September 3, 2025. She is survived by her children: Rolland Aaron Casey of Montgomery, Alabama; Shirley Casey Milton and her husband James of Pike Road, Alabama; Bruce Stanley Casey and his wife Vicki of New Braunfels, Texas; her brother Clifford and his wife Sandra of Montgomery, Alabama; grandchildren Stan Milton and his wife Misty, Chris Milton and his wife Kristy, Ryan Casey and his wife Kimberly; great grandchildren Maddox and his wife MaKenna; Madi, Ava, Mae Mae, and Lily Milton; Avery, Isabella and Everett Casey, and a host of nephews and nieces.
She retired in 1996 as the Chief Clerk of the Montgomery County, Alabama Tax Collectors office, after a long career in teaching children as a kindergarten teacher. Dot was always active in her community and various social groups. Mrs. Casey was a long-time member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church and is currently a member of Heritage Baptist Church.
A graveside service will be at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery 3001 Simmons Dr, Montgomery, AL 36108 on Saturday, September 6th at 10:00 AM, with Dr. Teman Knight officiating. Dot will be buried alongside her husband of 37 years, Wead Stanley Casey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Heritage Baptist Church.
