Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Deason (died on August 20,1993). She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Miller (Mike) and her grandson, Andrew Huie (Vanessa) and her sister Nancy Cutts (Wiley)well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a sister, Margaret (Peggy) McSwain. and brothers, Jack Dean, David Dean, Bobby Dean, and Billy Dean.
A Graveside Service will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery, 9504 US-331, Montgomery, Alabama 36105, (below Snowdoun), August 10, 2026, at 11:00 am.
