Dorothy May Douglas, age 86 of Prattville, Alabama, passed away on November 8, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Dorothy Bird. She is survived by her three sons, Donald James Lauderdale, Dana Ugene Lauderdale, and Daune Kenneth Lauderdale; and her grandchildren, Christina Lauderdale Fuller, Christopher Alan Lauderdale, Joeseph Michal Lauderdale, Ashley Lauderdale Moore, Dayna-Shay Ber Schneider, Delany Lauderdale, Max Lauderdale, Dalany Lauderdale, and Deja Lauderdale; along with seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Dorothy was born May 5,1939, in Pennsylvania. She moved to Prattville, Alabama in 1976 from Corpus Christi, Texas. Dorothy was a factory worker for medical supplies and a ski instructor. She was deeply loved by her family and will be dearly missed.
