Dorothy Louise Fulmer

FULMER, Dorothy Louise Weathers, 88, a longtime resident of Montgomery AL, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel H. Weathers and Emma Eloise Richards; sister Frances Claire Cook; brother(s) Donald W. Weathers and John H. Richards.

She is survived by her husband Richard Lawrence Fulmer Jr. of 71 years; brother Thomas Daniel Richards; son Wesley Daron Fulmer(Donna); daughter(s) Kimberly Fulmer Martin and Tracy Fulmer Norris(Larry); grandchildren Richard Todd Fulmer, Ashley Nicole Fulmer, Mary Kathryn Chasteen(Brooks), John David Norris(Lexi) and Benjamin Elliott Norris(Morgan); great-grandchildren Jason Miller Norris and Nash Allen Norris. Louise was born in Montgomery AL on March 30, 1936. She is an alumni of Sidney Lanier High School and graduated valedictorian from El Paso High School.

She was a member of First Baptist Church Montgomery. She retired from The Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions after 16 years. Her warm heart, kindness and love for her family and many close friends will be treasured and deeply missed.

Flowers will be gladly received and/or donations can be made in lieu of flowers to First Baptist Church Montgomery.

Funeral Arrangements have been made for Friday, November 29th 2024 at Leak Memory Chapel Funeral Home at 945 Lincoln Rd. Montgomery, AL 36109. Family will receive friends and guests for visitation at 1:00pm with a memorial service at 2:00pm. Burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers include: Richard Todd Fulmer, John David Norris, Benjamin Elliott Norris, Jonathan Brooks Chasteen and Derrick Earl Ballard.
