She is survived by her son, Bobby Hicks, daughter Janet Hicks Mathews (Jimmy). Grandsons Mike Hicks, Steve (Susan) Hicks, David Hicks, D.J. (Whitney) Hicks, Bobby Mathews, Jeff (Rachel) Mathews and Teresa Mathews. 5 great granddaughters and 1 great grandson.
She was a member of Eastern Meadows Church of Christ for over 70 years.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and James Pilgrim and Mike Hicks (honorary). Her joy was fulfilled when she shared time with her immediate family and her church family.
A visitation for Dorothy will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM, with graveside services to follow immediately after in Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens.
