Dorothy Browder Jones

She was a member of the First Christian Church for over 50 years, and she was active in the Ridge Acres Garden Club. Mrs. Jones was also a graduate of Huntington College.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lloyd Earl Browder; second husband, Frank Merlin Jones; three siblings; and son-in-law, Paul Pickard, Jr.

Survivors include her children, Angela Browder Koch, Carol Browder Pickard; grandchildren, Angeline, Lane, William, Robin, Peyton, Addie; great-granddaughter, Emerson; and other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Leak Memory Chapel with Reverend Pat Parven. The burial will be held at Greenwood Serenity Cemetery. The family will accept friends at 1:00 PM, prior to the service. Leak Memory Chapel is directing.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Children’s Center: Young Adult Program, 310 N Madison Terrace, Montgomery, AL 36107, or to the First Christian Church.
