Dot and her family lived across the street from my grandparents, Oliver and Mary Sue Davis, on Broadway Street in Chisholm. You could not have asked for a better neighbor and we had great peace of mind as they grew into their golden years that somebody like Dot was across the street looking out for them. In fact, it was Dot who called and told us that my grandfather had passed away. She and her family are some of the finest people that we know. I know that her family treasures her legacy and I just wanted them to know that other people do so as well.

I will always cherish the great memories I have of your Mom and Dad, Paul. Whenever I think of Dot I always remember her grape ice cream at the lake.
