STEVENS, Dorothy L., a resident of Montgomery, AL for 50 years, died Sunday, October 23, 2011. She was born on March 22, 1919 in Madison, Minnesota where she became a registered nurse and graduated from St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing. She was active in the Epiphany Lutheran Church for many years and recently at Whitfield Memorial United Methodist Church. She was also an active participant for many years in the Beta Sigma Phi sorority and an avid member of her Bridge Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry W. Stevens. She is survived by her 3 sons, Jerry (Angel) Stevens, Tom (Cathy) Stevens, and Scott Stevens; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. Graveside services will be at 2:00 on Friday, October 28 in Greenwood Cemetery with Francis Turner officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 until 2:00 at Leak Memory Chapel.
