Milstead, Douglas C., died Friday, February 24, 2012. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 28th at Snowdoun Baptist Church with burial following at Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera, AL. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Born in Birmingham, Al., Mr. Milstead proudly served in the Air Force, was an owner of an automobile business and a dedicated member of Snowdoun Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Odell Edwin Milstead. Mr. Milstead is survived by his wife, Maggie Milstead; children, Jan Milstead , Mark Milstead (Kim) and Chad Milstead (Jeannie); grandchildren, Forrest Milstead, Anabeth Milstead, Alyssa Spivey and Brandon Maddox; mother, Bessie Mae Milstead; brothers, Wayne Milstead (Mary Ann) and Ronnie Milstead (Lucy); and sister, Janice Adams (B.A.). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Snowdoun Baptist Church.
