E. E. Bracknell

Mr. Bracknell was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church for over 50 years where he was a deacon and an overall active servant of the church. He was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Bracknell; second wife, Catherine Bracknell; his son, Scott Bracknell; and his parents.

Survivors include his son, Thomas E. (Gaye) Bracknell; grandchildren, Jeff (Kim) Bracknell, Brooke (Brandon) Poe; five great-grandchildren; his special friend, Melba Taylor; and numerous other family members and friends.

The family would like to give special thanks to Gentiva Hospice.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, Monday, January 4, 2015 at Leak Memory Chapel with Rev. Tom Smith officiating. The burial will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery in Snowdoun, AL. The family will accept friends at 11:00 prior to the service. Leak- Memory Chapel is directing.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
